From its IJmuiden home base, Danieli Corus prepares and executes projects, ranging from technical consultancy to the construction and commissioning of entire blast furnace facilities. Danieli Corus has around 300 employees, working at offices in The Netherlands, India and China.

Job Description:

As a metallurgist steelmaking, you will be our key expert regarding questions and calculations of any metallurgical nature in product development as well as technology implementation during projects. Your work will be essential for our new designs and solutions, while at the same time being the key to assessing and validating existing ones.

Requirements?

Technical education in metallurgy at academic level, certified with a diploma
Knowledge of metallurgical technology development
Knowledge of process calculations, modelling activities and statistical processing of the measurement results
Experience (at least 5 years) in the field of technology, preferably for the steel industry
Willingness to travel abroad
Fluent in English
